Students' Opinions about Meeting in Palermo

I have been working in this project for two years. Comenius gives me a chance of developing my interests. I know other cultures, customs and lifestyles. When I was on Sicily I met a lot of interesting people. I lived with Italian family. During that week I was entering into new friendships. I hope that some of them will be taking so long. Also, I had a chance to watch behaviours of local people and I got to know a lot of amazing places. I experienced unforgettable moments and now I have wonderful memories. I will never forget the smiling faces, sunny days, sandy beaches, sparkling sea and handsome boys... Read More

Our stay in Palermo was really great. It started on Monday 30th, after a long journey travelling (29th of March) from Galicia to Palermo.
Once there we visited the Sicilian High School where we had our meeting (both teachers and students) and we would see the work of the students of all the countries participating in the project. They were really fantastic. We also visited the school. It was great!.
We also visited the city and the countryside. Marvellous!!!.
We could also stay with our friends and mates, I mean, the teachers from all the other countries. It was very nice seeing them again and being able to talk to them about everything . And , of course, have fun with them once again..
But everything comes to an end, so on Saturday 4th of April we came back to Spain. We arrived home at 3:00 in the morning on Sunday because of a lot of problems in the airports. But we were happy because it was an unforgettable trip.

It was a marvelous trip. Amazing!!.
We were a little frightened because we did not know what we were going to find in Palermo: problems to be understood , to make us be understood , etc.But the people there, were fantastic and there was no problem at all..
The trip was quite long because we spent all day in the airports and in planes(Oporto, Rome, Palermo). We spent the whole day travelling from one airport to another and taking different flights Borja was our guide at the airport in Rome on our way back to Spain because, after spending so much time there, he knew all the places.
The people from Palermo were fantastic. From the very first day they made us feel at home. All of them were lovely people and, though we had some difficulties to communicate with the Turkish and Polish students, after the first days we became good friends. Our relationship with the teachers was good , too. They were very nice and lively people.
There are a lot of unforgettable remembrances and stories to tell .Those will remain in our memories forever. Now we have friends for the rest of our lives
It was such a wonderful trip that we will have to do it again. We hope to welcome all of them in the same way when they come to Galicia.
We are sure that we will have a very good time next October because we will see our marvelous friends again.
VIVA THE COMENIUS PROJECT!!!
