This a very strange experience. Two young people meet in the most beautiful time of their life and they have a chance to get to know about very unkonown things.
English language is very difficult for them and even it they can`t speak good English, they have to do it in order to communicate with each other. I know this feeling, when I`ve got a lot of questions in my head and I don`t know how I should start, how should I ask. And I usually say nothing....Read more

Program Comenius was the best thing which took place in our school. It gave me a lot of possibilities. Thanks to it I could improve my English. However not All our quests could good sapek English so we communicated with them by a sign language. It seems that language was a barier, but it wasn’t true. Maybe for the first days we had some problems with communications but after that our conversation was easier. Words weren’t as important as we thought. People who came to Poland showed me their cultures, traditions and religions. That was important becouse thanks to them now I have more tolerance for another people. Besides...Read more

Breaking the stereotypes? Now, when I met a lot of fantastic people, I think that stereotypes don’t exist. Even a language’s barrier wasn’t a problem for us. Our new friends were very talkative and we had a good contact. We weren’t such different people as we supposed it. We listen the similar music, watch the same films and we have got the same hobbies. Our guests’ culture is fascinating. The most interesting things are their languages. Turkish words were very difficult, but we felt satisfaction when we pronounced them... Read more

They have arrived! The Spanish girls were in our houses. I’ve felt a little bit stressed because I have forgotten some English words, on the other hand Laura was tired of her trip and we went to bed early. Yesterday before I went to bed, I was wondering how to say some things in English. Unfortunately, in the morning, when I wanted to say something I got stuck after the 1st word. But after the few seconds I tried to start a conversion again. While we were having a meal I met some Italian boys... Read diary

I’m really grateful to this project because it gave us a chance to get to know the culture and people from other countries and also to become more familiar with our own country and traveling. That week was the best occasion to speak English because if you want to talk you have to use this language... Read More

In my opinion Comenius Project was one of the best adventures in my life. In my home lived a girl from Spain- Lara. Lara was frank, creative person and she all the time had a lot to say :) Thanks to her I understood how important it is to learn languages. I never was bored with her and our conversations were every topic... Read More

I have participated in the Comenius program since September 2008. I think that participation in it taught me a lot. I had a special occasion to develop during the foreigners visit in Poland. First of all, changing language (from Polish in to English) was very difficult to me. Besides, I became aware that stereotypes not always tell the truth and often remain only stereotypes. I will always remember handsome and talkative Italians, musical Turks and cheerful Spanish. I am happy that I can be taking part in this project.
